Tuesday June 5, 2012.  28 new birds of 14 species; 19 recaps. Yellow-bellied Flycatcher was bird of the day with 6 banded, and Yellow Warbler was second with 5. This was the last day of spring banding. Each net check brought only a few birds but we were able to take advantage of the slow day by carefully examining the molt limits on Yellow-bellied Flycatchers, Yellow Warblers, Gray Catbirds and Indigo Buntings and passing the birds among the several banders present.  Jon Dombrowski
