Thursday September 6, 2012. We had 33 new bands (15 species), 3 hummers (1 banded), 1 new species (Gray-cheeked Thrush),9 right leg retraps, 1 left leg retrap. There were nine warbler species banded: American Redstart, Magnolia, Wilson’s, Nashville, Blackpoll, Common Yellowthroat, Black-throated Blue Warbler, Northern Waterthrush and Connecticut Warbler. Banders were Aggie, Gayle and Doug; Kevin helped net-pick, and Andrea Mott and Judy Snell helped scribe. We spent more time than we wanted to looking for five lost bands. Gayle even swept the floor and looked under the floor mats. They were ultimately found under a copy of Pyle! Doug Smith
