Friday September 7, 2012. We had another slow and very warm day, but we actually always had at least one bird at each net check. We banded a total of 30 new birds, including two hummers, and had maybe 10 – 15 recaps.

We had 14 species and new for the season was Gray-cheek/Bicknell’s Thrush. Something severely damaged net 19. I think maybe deer? Ryan and I replaced it. Mark Catlin seemed to really enjoy his time at the station and picked up on scribing very well.
