Friday October 19, 2012.  It was a very slow day with more people than birds. Our first net check yielded only one bird, but it was a nice Fox Sparrow. Chickadees were the most numerous, with eight banded. We also banded three titmice, three Hermit Thrushes, three juncoes, two Golden-crowned Kinglets, one Field Sparrow, and one robin. There were thirteen recaps. Katie’s dad , Brad spent the morning with us, and Ann and Alan Nash stopped by for a short visit. Ann seems to be making a fast recovery from her knee surgery.  Cindy Marino
