Tuesday September 3, 2013.  It was another very slow Tuesday. Cooler weather was a great relief after all the heat and humidity of the last two weeks, but the change in weather did not bring us many birds. In fact, we only banded eight new birds and we had six recaptures, before showers moved in at hour 4.5. We closed all nets at that point and decided to call it a day.

A Swainson’s Thrush was a new species for the season.
