Wednesday October 2, 2013.  18 new of 7 species; 13 recaps.  White-throated Sparrow was the most common species with 7 banded.

We continued with preparations for the North American Banding Council Bander and Trainer Certification session schedule to begin on Friday.  Doug  trimmed some bushes getting too close to the elevated nets, and hauled away a few brush piles.  Peggy, Marilyn and Betsy got the education room ready for Thursday’s Science Lecture being presented by Dr. Sara Morris.

Peggy got ready for her banding demonstration at Cummings Nature Center next weekend.

Quinn Deutschlander went on net-checks with us and enjoyed watching the banding process up close at the banding table.
