Saturday May 31, 2014.  32 new birds of 20 species; 9 recaps.  New species:  Blackburnian Warbler.  We are nearing the end of the season, but we still had a great variety today with 11 species of warblers – including the first Blackburnian Warbler of the season.  We were also charmed by our second Black-billed Cucukoo, and several elegant and  subtle female Morning Warblers.  The station seems quiet now without Betsy, Ryan, and all the students . . . but a double handful of guests livened things up and made for a merry day.
