Thursday, September 4:  22 birds of 13 species, 11 recaps. No new species today. Most numerous species were Swainson’s Thrush with 4 and Gray Catbird with 3.

Today was hot with light southerly winds so we didn’t expect to catch a lot of birds and we didn’t. The variety of species helped to keep the day interesting. The pesky mosquitoes are still dogging us on net runs.

We had visits today from Dominic Sherony  and raptor bander Danny Niven.
